BURLINGTON TWP – The Roughriders' offense erupted for 19 hits and 19 runs to help Chris Brown earn his first career victory, all part of a 19-1 drubbing of the Burlington Township Pirates. Ian Murphy (4-5, 4 RBI), Vincent Panvini (3-5, 2 RBI), and Eric Sabato (2 2B, 3 RBI) led the way as the Roughs reached season-highs for both runs and hits. Brown hurled four innings of one-hit ball, striking out seven and walking one.
HADDONFIELD – In the first ever meeting between the two franchises, the Roughriders were upended by the Pine Barrens 8-3, and suffered their first loss to an RVL North team this season. Pine Barrens jumped out to a 6-0 before Shane Daly (2-4) hit a three-run homer to account for all the Roughrider scoring in the fifth inning.

RUNNEMEDE – Shane Daly drove in three runs and Aaron Graeber hit a solo home run as the Roughriders defeated the SJ Grizzlies 5-2. Zach Welsher made his 2023 debut (6.1 IP, 6 H 1 ER, 4 BB, 7K) a winning effort. Daly doubled in two runs in the third inning to erase a 1-0 deficit and Graeber led off the fourth with his homer to make it 3-1. Pat Doheny entered the game in the seventh with one out and a runner on to earn the save, getting the final out with the bases loaded on a pop out.
HADDON TWP – The Roughriders dropped their second game to an RVL North team, this time the Delran Browns, by a score of 7-4. The Roughriders took a 1-0 lead in the first when Shane Daly walked, advanced to third on a single to right by Danny Vazquez, and subsequently scored on an error by Delran's rightfielder. But the Browns scored two in the third and four in the fifth to take a commanding 6-1 lead which the Roughs would not overcome. Vazquez went 3-3 and scored a run to pace the offense, which out-hit the vistors 8-4.

HADDON TWP – The Roughriders closed out June with a 5-2 win over division rival Haddonfield on Friday night. Chris Brown earned his second win of the week by striking out eight Dawgs' hitters (5 IP, 2 H, 1 ER). Leading 1-0, a four-run third broke the game open. Ian Murphy's two-out single scored Shane Daly for a 2-0 lead and the Roughs then benefited from two Dawgs' errors to plate three additional runs. Murphy finished with two RBI and a run scored.
