DEPTFORD - Jeremy Clark went 4-5 with three runs scored and Mike Carlino hit a two-run homer in a 17-0
whitewashing of the Lumber Kings. The Roughriders erupted for their most runs and hits (16) in a game this season. Clark, Carlino, Mike Plakis, and
Dave Vadurro all had multiple hit games. Brian Spicer (3-2) broke a personal two game losing streak, throwing a complete game shutout. He gave up
five hits, striking out three and walking two. The Roughriders currently sit in the sixth position in the overall standings.

HADDONFIELD - Phil Arena's two-out, RBI single in the bottom of the sixth broke a 3-3 tie and gave the Roughriders a
5-3 win over Cherry Hill on Thursday night. Arena's single scored Mike Plakis (leadoff walk) and Andrew Frangos (double), making a winner of reliever
Ryan McNamara. McNamara (3-3) pitched the final four innings, allowing only two hits (1 ER, 4 BB, 6 K). Starter Andrew Grennor went three innings,
allowing two earned runs on two hits. He struck out two and walked three. Frangos finished 2-4 with two doubles and Arena went 2-4 with a double
and run scored in addition to his game winner.

HADDONFIELD - The Roughriders won their fifth straight and clinched fifth place overall with a convincing 16-2
win over D'Andrea. With a playoff bye on the line for both teams, the Roughs scored seven first inning runs highlighted by Bill Kohut's two-run single and Steve
Wyland's two-run double. Mike Carlino's two-run homer, his team leading third of the year, iced the game in the third inning. Mark Kraus won his
first game of the year in his first start of the year, striking out four and walking only one. The Roughriders will face Bellmawr, the four seed,
in the first round of the 2008 playoffs.
