Jonathan George completed his fourth season with the Colorado Rockies organization in 2009, his eighth overall season of minor league baseball.

Pitching for the Tulsa Drillers, Double A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, George posted a 4-2 record, appearing in 32 games. In 47.2 innings he allowed 57 hits and 35 runs (33 earned) for a 6.23 ERA. George walked 21 and struck out 31.

An original draft selection of the Cincinnati Reds in 2002, George was acquired by the Rockies in a 2006 trade. Jonathan spent the 2000 and 2001 seasons with the Roughriders.
